Dear Anita, words cannot describe how thankful we are to you for today. We would like to express our heartfelt thanks and appreciation to you, my father especially. We were so touched you could create such a wonderful ceremony. You really captured our Mum and beloved wife, beautiful Annette. It meant so much to us I cannot tell you. We are talking about the service this evening and we all agreed, how lovely it was to hear about Mum’s life again and how amazing both she and her life were. The last months have been so consumed by the illness and it was really nice and somehow healing to forget about that part and focus on the amazing life and person she has always been. It has helped us in the first stage of the grieving process.
My friends, Mum’s friends and family have written to me saying what a wonderful speaker you are. They describe you and your words as „amazing“. You really were <3 I feel you understood our mother. So many people have written to me to say what a beautiful memorial it was and this just would not have been possible without you. Thank you. Also for this absolutely wonderful idea with the rose petals, I will definitely do that. So thoughtful of you! Thank you also for your technical suggestions, it really made all the difference so the people at home could hear everything so clearly.
Take care and I really look forward to staying in touch with you.
